If your Remington is chambered in a high power cartridge then avoid the Barska's... They will fail with the heavy recoil.. A 30/06, .308, 7MM, etc would beat the crap out of that cheap scope... If its chambered in a light cartridge like a .223 then I suppose those would be ok until you could afford a better quality scope.... Barska’s arent that great of a scope….
